Sealed Chests were created in [[Zeal]] in order to house special or enchanted treasure. When Zeal fell, they scattered across the land, eventually popping up in several places as the continents stabilized and [[Zenan]] emerged. Several citizens kept the chests, though they could not open them as [[Mammon Machine]] energy was required. Once [[Crono]] charged up the [[Pendant]], he located and opened the surviving chests around the world. A trick exists to get the lesser item before finding the higher. Examine the items in [[600 A.D.]], but don't take the contents out. Then go to [[1000 A.D.]] and remove the contents; you can then travel back in time and take out the lesser items as well.
