The following documents need to be translated to achieve a greater understanding of the Chrono series. If you would like to volunteer, please contact chronocompendium@gmail.com. Your work will be invaluable in helping us crack the last few mysteries whose answers have been forever barred from Western audiences.
Contents
Chrono Trigger Prerelease
Script
- Translated Text (CTP) (undecipherable portions from earlier builds)
Screenshots
The upper left screenshot (with a monster or tech name) and the screenshot featuring a Goon battle in Manoria Cathedral require translation.
Video
- Chrono Trigger V-Jump Preview Video 2 Interviews and unique dialogue in scenes shown
Chrono Trigger
- Chrono Trigger - Character Library
- Chrono Trigger OAV Manga (not yet scanned; may not be worth it anyhow or impossible to find)
Chrono Trigger DS Original Soundtrack
Liner notes, of course!
Chrono Trigger Ultimania
- Pages 523-524, which contain boss descriptions for Evil Marle, Dalton in the DV, and Evil Crono.
- Pages 526-527, which contain boss descriptions for Evil Lucca and the Dream Devourer.
- Page 573, with a blurb on the DBT and Magus
Parse in case there's any new information:
Chrono Cross
Chrono Cross Ultimania
In order of importance, pages 469-483 are developer interviews, then (scans forthcoming)
Chrono Cross Missing Piece
This mostly consists of art with small captions. They're great in number, but should be relatively easy to translate. In order of importance, 11-13 and 125-128 are developer interviews, and... (scans forthcoming)
Chrono Cross Demo
The dialogue shown on that page's screenshots needs to be translated.
Chrono Cross OST Liner Notes
The interview with Noriko Mitose hasn't been translated, as well as opening comments by Hiromichi Tanaka and Masato Kato.
Other
- July 15 and 16, 2003 - Interviews with Takashi Tokita concerning "Chrono Trigger 2"; just the CT2 part is fine
